Women’s 50+ Multivitamin contains vitamin and
mineral complexes important for women over 50,
including calcium and magnesium in a 2:1 ratio,
vitamin D3 and K2 and active forms of folate,
B12, and other B vitamins. Antioxidants and
other phytonutrients are also included for energy
and vitality, making this formula ideal for women
looking for a raw-food based multi, packed full of
organic ingredients.
The highly bioavailable Women’s 50+ Multi has
many benefits. Organic carotenes, including
betacarotenes (from Dunaliella salina), lutein
(from marigold flower extract) and lycopene (from
tomato extract) have important health benefits
for men and women and are necessary nutrients
to maintain eye health and function and support
healthy vision.
Alpha lipoic acid (found in foods such as spinach,
yeast and broccoli) acts as and antioxidant in the
body, protecting it against oxidative stress.
Women’s Multivitamin 50+ contains Quatrefolic®
which is the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-
methyltetrahydrofolate and is structurally
analogous to the reduced and active form of folic
acid. It has greater stability, higher water solubility
compared to 5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium salt
guaranteeing an improved bioavailability.
Quatrefolic® provides the active form of folate,
5-methyltetrahydrofolate, naturally present in the
body and available for its biological action.
MOOD, STRESS AND IMMUNE
SUPPORT
Women’s 50+ Multi includes naturally occurring B
vitamins as well as the most active forms, including
benfotiamine (B1), riboflavin 5’-phosphate
(B2), inositol hexanicotinate (B3), pyrodoxal
5-phosphate (B6), 6S-5-methyltetrahydrofolic
acid (MTHF) (folate), methylcobalamin (B12) and
pantethine (B5).3,4
B Vitamins help with the digestion of carbohydrates
in the diet and support healthy mood balance.
Green tea has been included in Women’s 50+
Multi as it has been shown to enhance the body’s
adaptation to stress and support healthy body
stress recovery. The ingredients vitamin C and
garlic also improve immunity.
JOINT AND BONE SUPPORT
Women’s 50+ Multi is a rich source of nutrients
which are beneficial for maintaining strong and
healthy bones. This is particularly important for
mature women, in order to maintain bone density.
Key bone building nutrients include;
• Active Vitamin K2 from Menaquinone 7, the
most bioavailable, longest lasting and most
bioactive form of Vitamin K2.3
Women’s 50+ Multi
contains Vitamin K2, which helps enhance bone
density and bone strength.
• Calcium derived from wild harvested, plant
sourced, certified organic, marine algae, which is
free of pollutants. Clinical studies have shown that
algae sourced calcium is extremely bioavailable,
with better absorption when compared to
commonly used calcium salts. These studies
have shown excellent utilisation in promoting bone
health.4
Women’s 50+ Multi contains calcium,
which promotes bone health, enhances the
metabolism of calcium in the bones and helps
to promote healthy joint function. A diet deficient
in calcium can lead to osteoporosis in later life.
Calcium may help prevent osteoporosis when
dietary intake is inadequate.
